Adarsh is a seasoned Sales & Marketing professional with over 19 years of experience. He joined Flipkart in March 2015 after a 12-year stint in Hindustan Unilever Ltd. His last stint in HUL was General Manager, West India, where he was responsible for a $1.1 billion business and leading a team of 700 people.

At Flipkart, Adarsh has just moved to start-up & lead the new B2B business - an exciting new charter that aims to drive growth & prosperity to millions of kiranas & MSMEs in India, & holds the potential to become a large & meaningful part of the Flipkart Group’s presence in India. In this role, he heads Walmart India - an acquisition made by the Flipkart group to enter the B2B space, & Flipkart Wholesale - the newly launched ECommerce B2B marketplace.

Prior to this, Adarsh headed three Business Units at Flipkart - The Flipkart Private Brands Business Unit horizontally across categories, the Electronics Business Unit & the Furniture Business Unit. Adarsh enjoys working across varied categories & business opportunities, & solving the numerous complex problems associated with scaling up businesses to positions of dominance in India. He is passionate about leveraging technology to solve problems for India & Indian customers, & in building high-performing & engaged teams.

Adarsh holds an MBA in Marketing & HR from FMS Delhi. He is married to Chandini who heads Marketing for HDFC Credila & they have a 13 year old son Arhaan. In his spare time, Adarsh enjoys playing squash, listening to music & travelling.
